Then, maybe I should also try to see if I get the same problems you had. I have xphome with all updates. Comments from all????????????

I've been using IE7 since beta 2 (late build) and have had very little problem; the only one worth mentioning was during beta 3 with certain types of scripted pop-ups and it was resolved by RC1. I have otherwise found it to be as fast and stable as IE6. I'm running it under XP-Home on machines with a 1.0GHz Pentium III and 256MB RAM, a 2.3GHz Celeron and 512MB RAM, and a 2.8 Pentium 4 and 1GB RAM.

I have no idea why Rick Cogan was having so much trouble with it, but yes, you can easily revert back to IE6.

I'm running XP Pro SP2 on a P41.7Ghz w/2GB RAM and plenty of free disk space. I don't know why I had the problems either, no problems with ie6 nor Firefox, other than the latter not being able to access some sites that require ie6.

I don't have the time nor inclination to debug Microsoft's products for them. That is why I waited until the final release to try it. Needless to say I'm not impressed.

It'll be awhile before I try it again.
