I've never had any problem uninstalling the beta or RC versions so I would
expect that uninstalling still works.
But, for end users with no time to fight fires, new software should always
be greeted with the question:
"If it ain't broke, should I fix it?"
If you have the time to fight fires, then by all means go for it. I've
not
had *any* problems with IE7 ever since the first public beta. The release
version is faster than any of the beta/RC versions, as one would expect
now
that the debug code is removed or turned off.
See my earlier post, if you think the release version is faster than the
earlier versions, they must've been real dogs, because this version, when it
wasn't locking up, was a real dog!
