Thanks, Diane... the MS File Transfer Mgr kept timing out, which may simply
mean it
was restarting and adding to complete the file. You are correct, renaming didn't
work. Fortunately the Virtual PC WinXP download was good and I now its
installed.
I'm not certain if I see any difference between Virtual PC 2004 and 2007,
although
the latter is supposed to provide better support for Vista. My main system has
1GB
of RAM which has to be shared, so Vista only gets 512KB which, apparently, is
only
about half of what is needed to work well. Anyway, I get to look at Vista which
is
all I want right now.
