What/where are these sites that people cannot access with IE7? I've yet
to find one, personally. I did have a tech at my Visa card company claim
that IE7 was why I couldn't download statements, but I told him that I
also couldn't d/l them in IE6. Anyway, that problem was resolved several
days later on their end; seemed to be a configuration issue with my
account, but not something that was under my control.
...
That was me that had the problem and here's one site that doesn't allow ie7
nor ff for that matter.
http://profitkey.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/profitkey/login
The above site is required for my job. Therefore, until RightNow changes
their admin support sites to support ie7 and/or firefox I have to use ie6 to
get there. (RightNow is a CRM package and is the host of the above site).
On top of that, ie7 was opening my default home page very slowly > 30
seconds (ie6 opens it within about 3 seconds), it also locked up on me after
just a few minutes of use, 3 times in a row and another time after
rebooting. So I just uninstalled it and reverted back to ie6.
My default home page that was slow opening in ie7 is:
