What type of file sharing... Simple or Classic? Be sure both
are using NetBIOS over TCP, since that is what the computer
browser service (aka My Network Places) uses.
Not familiar with AVG firewall, but the profile should probably
be set to "network" (or whatever term is used) rather than
"standalone", and a "local (LAN) trust zone" created.
