Hi,

To ping another PC on your network, you need first to know its IP address.
On both machines, click on Start, Execute, & type in "cmd". This opens a DOS window.
Type "ipconfig", & you should see the IP address of the PC.
On the other machine, type "ping 123.456.789.001" (or whatever the IP address is of the other PC).
You should get some indication that the ping has worked or not.
