That's what I've heard from clients. The Scansoft docs say 20% improvement

do good quality transcription from my voice recorder would save me several

I'm planning to upgrade my system in the new year to something close to what 
you have, most likley an Athlon 64 or maybe a dual core Intel so I can dual 
boot Mac OSX and XP Pro.

Hmm, their Univoice product looks interesting. Will check out their forums 
too.
