No! In fact I'll probably turn the screws tighter and lower the line limit
further. The point is you should edit the "quoted" parts of the email you are
replying to. You should try to not copy the entire original email, including
bottom banner. People on this list generally have good memory of the previous
messages. And most people have mail programs that "thread" fairly well (group
messages of same message topic/Subject: line together), especially all the
users of Forte Agent. So even if memory falters, they can scroll back to read
the previous/original message if needed.
A courtesy rule/best practice: The "quoted" part of of the original email
should not exceed 50% of the total email. Put another way, your comments
should be at least as long as the amount you quote from the original message,
preferably longer. (By way of example, this message copies only 1 sentence
from your email and my comments are probably 10X the amount I quoted.) 75%
your comments vs 25% quoted content is even better and a good ratio to strive
for.
