I second a vote for more lines. Yes, some would like to be brief and
to the point but there are times when some people need a little
more clarity when answering any questions that others on this list may
have.
IMHO its the fair thing to do.

And so to plead your case you post a message without trimming the
irrelevant pieces of the original message and violating the rule to trim
it down so that the "quoted" part does not exceed 50% of the total
email...
Many times too much verbage may cause misinterpretation.
