Hi,
I'm really new to Win4Lin. In fact, I don't have it running at
all. I did, however, experience it for a short time as I downloaded it
and it ran just great for the first hour :-) Then I got the evaluation
msg thingie and so I tried a restart and it failed. The support folks
told me that I probably downloaded a nearly expired version and that they
were trying to get a new version available. Of course I was told that
well after I'd completely reformated my Linux partitions in an attempt to
remove whatever it was that was foiling my attempts to get Win4Lin to run
again (grin).
Anyways, in the process of reformating and such I decided to upgrade the
kernel/OS (Linux2.2.17-11mdk). I'm wondering if anyone here is running
Win4Lin with this kernel or any kernel more recent than 2.2-15-9mdk. The
Win4Lin script doesn't recognize anything higher.
