I launch Win4Lin with a desktop icon that calls 'win &' but does not use a
terminal window.
When I issue 'win &' from an xterm the flash and redraw of the desktop
still occurs but there is no warning message.
When I use only 'win' from my desktop icon I get the same result, a flash
and redraw of the desktop but no warning message.
