Thanks for the win4lin info. As to your problem "to keep your
mailbox straight" I can easily help you: you just have to upgrade
your mutt 1.0us client. If you just go mutt 1.01 that is enough
:-)).
But If I were you I would go straight to mutt 1.2.5 which is fairly
good...

There is nothing wrong with the date on my computer. It is a strange Y2K
problem with some MTAs. Mutt 1.0 can not handle this.

Ps.: Just a word of advice: take a look at the mail headers before you take
assumptions on the configuration of other people's computers...
