Thanks for the pointers Amanda, I checked this and the setting had been
setup that way.
My Palm and the Hotsync do start to talk, when I push the hotsync button on
the Palm the hostsync starts on the desktop. The Palm just times (after a
minute) out and the Hotsync never shows the USER info come up.
I think this should just work. It has on every other PC, even Vmware PC's.
I might try setting up a new VM-PC and see how that works, it has been a
while.
