Mine's identical with one exception. My "Device" call is "/dev/mouse"

I almost hate to muck with mine right now but I'm also curious as if
my Windows setup (which says the mouse isn't working) were running
native my mouse wouldn't work. In fact, just last week I went through
the device gyrations to reactivate a client's mouse (no Linux there).
Does your Windows installation think there's a mouse driver
installed? Maybe that's the key.

I have to confess to being largely ignorant of win4lin problems as I
just haven't had any. I've built win4lin kernels, done upgrades and
even skipped through all the scripts a time or three but when it comes
to getting the few things I need in win4lin running I just haven't had
to do much.

Cheers --- Larry
