Thank you both for the help. I have not been able to find an 2.2.16
non-smp patch (mandrake or otherwise) yet, so I may try vmware on my
mandrake box and win4lin on a red hat box (win4lin kernel runs fine
there). At the very least, it should provide an interesting comparison.
