The support data base says that Debian and Slackware will not be
supported in 3.0. Will the same method of installation which works on
a Debian system for Win4Lin 2.0 users work? I could care less about an
automated installation script, but would like to see .deb packages
again as well as continued availability of generic kernel patches.

Since Win4Lin 1.0 and the beta versions of 2.0 had this support, it
would appear feasible for NeTraverse to continue at least a minimal
level of support. Don't write off everyone who has not succumbed to
rpm-itis!

I'd hate to stay bound to 2.2 kernels and life is too short for VMWare.
