Hi Larry,
The instability I was speak of has nothing to do with this date issue.
Sorry for any confusion. Win4Lin 2.0 crashes when downloading stock quotes
in quicken 1 out of 3 times. When it crashes, the database is corrupted and
I have to go to a backup and do a restore. For this reason I back up every
time I leave quicken so that the next time I use the program, if I want to
download quotes I do it first thing.

I have no evidence of the machine being unstable other than this. I use
it daily for a number of things, and it's been running setiathome for about
80 days without a hitch.

Mark

If I were you I'd come to understand what's causing the "instability"
as I don't think it's normal. I'm running Mandrake 7.2 and Win4Lin
2.0. They run 24/7 and the last time I shut down either of them was
to add memory to the machine. No date problems here.

Cheers --- Larry
