program called Turnpike (www.turnpike.com). win4lin stays up in a
window all day with TP available - I just run up ppp and dial in when
I can't resist another fix of newsgroup chatter - :-).
So the leak sounds possibly a M$ thing...
- but then I'm not shifting vast quantities of www-data through the
win4lin TCP/IP link - that's done wholly in Linux with Nutscrape (
version 4.7)...
