Richard,
The easiest way to burn the ISO in Windows is to copy the ISO images off of
the CD onto your hard drive and use regular CD burning software.
CDRWIN burns ISO's very well - I think Adaptec can also burn them. Nero as
well I'm pretty sure. The ISO's just burned onto the CD as a regular file
won't do you much good - you could mount them in Linux using the loopback
device and depending on the Mandrake installer maybe even run through an
installation - but the best way would be just to burn the ISO as an ISO and
boot up into the installer.
