One can mount an iso image file? Would you mind providing a sample command
line for that?

I agree, having it all in one pile would be great also.

Heck, if that's a problem for some they don't need to write the image,
they could simply copy it and then mount it as a loopback file system
for installation.  The important thing is to have it all in one pile.
Heck, I'd settle for an rpm file.
