loop filesystems are not default readonly, although i'm assuming
you're correct about iso9660 filesystems (never having used one myself).

how about a better example, then.  either the "ro" flag, or:

   mount -oloop -tiso9660 isofilename mount_point_directory

(to make sure the user will force read-only either because he specifies
 it, or the kernel verifies that it's iso9660 and therefore readonly-only.)
