Known issue, already in an FAQ, published yesterday afternoon at 
www.netraverse.com/support.
So hopefully we can share the knowledge with those who aren't sure about 
this. This will affect
scsi users on at least Mandrake 8.0 and Red Hat 7.1 for right now.
