I've gotten Win4Lin going, initially with the Winsock
option. With that option I am able to connect out to the
Internet. I then tried switching to vnet with the
recommended command "win_network -v". After the switch I
was able to access Network Neighborhood and see other
machines on my LAN, but I could no longer connect
outwards. From a DOS window I attempted a ping and got the
message "A required .DLL file, WINSOCK32.DLL, was not
found."
Has anyone else here succeeded in using VNET both for the
network neighborhood and outward connections? What's the
trick?
