For those customers who purchased either Win4Lin 1.0 or Win4Lin 2.0.x, you
may now obtain your upgrade. Here is how you can get it.

Go to http://www.netraverse.com and click on the Login tab (top right of
the page).
If you have previous set up a Member Login on our site, use that email
address and
password to log in. If you have not previously set up a Member Login, you
must create
an account first. The login to the Member site is different than the login
to the Support
Site.

Once you are logged into the Members site, you will see a link for
Complimentary
Win4Lin 3.0 upgrade request. Follow this link and provide the requested
information.

The page is fairly intuitive and straight forward. If you have Win4Lin
2.0.x installed, you
can use either the LIC_ID from your /var/win4lin/install/license.txt file,
or the serial number
of your Win4Lin 2.0 cd. Please note, the form does recognize and will
reject LIC_IDs from
an evaluation license. If, for some reason your information can not
automatically be verified,
you will be notified, and you have the option to submit it to be manually
verified. Please take
advantage of the comments field when using this option.

If you are a Win4Lin 1.0 customer, and did not upgrade to Win4Lin 2.0.x you
will be requested to
provide the serial number of your Win4Lin 1.0. These requests will have to
be manually verified.

If you downloaded the 3.0 evaluation code last week in an effort to get an
early look at the software, obtain
your upgrade License Code, using the method above. After you have your
license code, close windows.
Then as the root user run "win4lin-install". Choose the option to "Register
your purchase" and click Next.
Enter the New license code in the space provided and click next to verify
it. You should receive a message
saying the registration was successful. Finish out of the installer, and
then run "win" as your non root user.

At this point in time, the Win4Lin 3.0 upgrade is not linked on the front
page of the NeTraverse
site. It will be shortly, but in the meantime you can use the instructions
above.
