OK this is ridiculous..
After waiting this long for 3.0, patching a perfectly good kernel, etc
etc, the installer just dies with a blank dialog box and some mysterious
"unknown option, etc" warning. (This is installer 3.02)
I have an up-to-date RH 6.2 box with XFree 4.01, a TNT2 video card and
kernel 2.4.4 system that runs vmware just great.
After wasting several hours on this and pouring over all the mailing
lists, the installer just hangs. I've read all the FAQs, have loads of
disk space and really don't feel like compromising my system any further
for this turkey.
