Bob -
If your concern is not fussing with your system for a while, then you
can still request and receive a license key and just not upgrade until
you are ready. The only part of the upgrade that is time-limited (as far
as I have
been made to understand) is actually requesting and receiving a license
key.
Once you have the key, you can download/install/upgrade whenever you
want to.
I haven't heard any firm end dates for the upgrade offer, but it's not
likely
to bee quite that soon. As the upgrades were just made available today
(the
4th), I'm sure they'll still be available on the eighth. I would imagine
we will give customers at least a month (if not more!) to request their
upgrade keys (this *is* just my opinion, though).
