Win4Lin 3.0 detected my modem quite happily - Sportser V90 but won't dial
out - played with the com port speed settings, rts/cts etc but didn't seem
to help. The log file definitely suggested something in this area was amiss.
It also detected my Infrared adapter off my other serial port - a Girbil.
Sometimes it works sometimes I get errors loading the driver and have to
remove it and re-load it. Very strange.
On another point - I have Mandrake 8 with a SCSI card and the stock Win4Lin
Mandrake kernel. I got lots of unresolved symbols at boot time
followed by an error message - no space on ram disk. Could this be the
real problem others reported? If so, how do I increase the size of the boot
ram disk?
Starting to look pretty good though.
