No; I started with Win4Lin v2, which I installed from RPMs. This installer
is new to v3, at least from my experience.

No, and it never would have occured to me to look for it there, since I
uncompressed the .tgz file in a temp directory.

No, I only see one copy of win4lin-install, in the temp directory where I
uncompressed it. I find no file called win4lin-install under /opt/win4lin.
Are you saying I should change to the /opt/win4lin directory, and run the
script that's in my temp directory from there?
