Sorry to answer my own post.
I FTPed what I assume is the latest RPM (Win4Lin-5.2.3d-d.i386.rpm) from
ftp.win4lin.com, and installed by hand (i.e., not using the installer).
Install *seems* to work; I can go into Windows and everything seems to
be working (after I reloaded my Windows CD).
[turgon@minas-aran Win4Lin-v3]$ win -v
touch: /home/turgon/.merge/win.sh.log: Permission denied
Win4Lin 3.0.3 (5.2.3d) 2001 June 16
XFree86 4.x
So I guess I'm now up to date.
So where do I find information about this VNET option I keep hearing
about? Is there a downloadable user manual somewhere? I didn't see any
option that mentioned VNET in the "winsetup" program.
