From > here you can configure, compile, et.al. I have a fresh install fo Mandrake 8.0 to work from now. BTW, I use rpm2cpio *.rpm | cpio -e --make-directories to extract the files from an rpm. Mandrake has this option on by default in their stock > kernel. AFAIK, the only way to turn it off is to build a new kernel. According to the Mandrake folk, this is phantom useage (not real useage) created for some measuring purpose.
