You can certainly "navigate" your way around software with NVDA using the 
"Navigator" which seems to perform in a similar way to using the Mouse Pointer 
with Window-Eyes for example though using the "Navigator" doesn't actually 
physically move the mouse pointer it seems so when you find something on the 
screen - a button for example - that requires clicking, you need to move the 
mouse to the Navigator, that's done with one of the NVDA commands and I can't 
for the life of me remember what it is right now and I should remember it 
because - with my system here - its one of the most commonly used commands for 
my use of NVDA with various pieces of software such as Windows Media Center.
