If I may come in here given I think I'm responsible for starting the thread <smile>.
What Gordon was using is called Remote Desktop and I understand that Freedom Science Fiction were charging extra for that functionality in JAWS etc, not sure whether this is still the case or not. We're talking here of JAWS Tandem - in the Window-Eyes world its called Remote Assistance - where a user asks for help and another user "Offers" help, a password is then exchanged between the 2 users of tandem and a connection established between the 2 users via the Freedom Science Fiction Tandem server. When connection is made the user who made the "Offer" of help is able to control the other computer and thus get feedback. The nice thing about Tandem - apart from the obvious power and flexibility of the system - is that both parties don't have to do anything special to their systems, that is to say no ports need to be opened, no special Windows functions or features need to be enabled etc, wish I could say the same for the Window-Eyes Remote Assistance functions, I've managed to get the system working but it took some time, installing this, reinstalling that etc and even now connections are problematic.
