Hi,

Honestly, everyone always talks about how beneficial JAWS Tandem is to someone who trains people on how to use JAWS. Going onto someone else's computer to fix their problems for them has never been the way I teach. And since you have to also use something like Skype or the phone in addition to JAWS Tandem, I have usually been able to hear the other person's JAWS just fine.

If you listen to the JAWS Tandem webinars, you will notice that safety isn't really addressed. I haven't really been concerned with that since I haven't found a benefit in using it. But I think relying on big companies to ensure their servers are safe... well, as you say, Dane, there might be hell to pay. But one should always take their own precautions as well.

I'm not here to debate trivial points, I have a firewall and I do what I can
and in the meantime? JAWS Tandem allows others to help me and me to help
others, something you appreciate being in the teaching profession I'm sure!

If there were any problems with security on the GW Micro or Freedom
Scientific servers and word got out? Well then they'd be hell to pay.
