Hello everybody Excuse me for saying so but it isn't the decision of others whether this type of article is appropriate for this group. That is between us, Gordon and I, as the owners of the list, and you, the person who wrote the article. If somebody takes objection to an article which appears on list, they have two options really. Wait to see if the list owner or author of the article says anything, or else live and let live. e have absolutely no problem with this sort of thing, it's why the list is here. So if anybody is moaning at you about the article you wrote appearing on here, just tell them to buzz off, or contact us directly. This was actually a very interesting read, and it made me consider buying one or two since we own 2 Fritz!Box routers. I am using 1 at work as a small scale PBX and it works extremely well. We also have 1 here although we have a problem with it which makes us think that the unit may have a fault. But that isn't at all relevant to this article. The Fritz! Sticks are cheap enough, and the 50 Dollars that Sarah quoted is way off the mark in any case. If they are priced at £25.00 GBP which Dane quoted in his article, that makes them around $34.00 US. You'd be hard pushed to find a quality router at that price. I suppose it depends on how you define quality; but having tried several different routers in the last few years we think that the Fritz!Box 7390 is probably the most feature-rich one we have used to date. In our home scenario we use it as a secondary network because our primary Internet trunks are SDSL not ADSL or DSL and the Fritz!Box like most domestic routers cannot handle that protocol.
In any event, please keep those articles coming. It's just a shame that we cannot get more audio reviews for our technology show. But that is another matter.
