No I didn't, don't know what happened there so I'll summaries the message to 
the best of my memory.

Firstly, Sound Forge Pro is not and never will be a multi track editor, you can 
edit multi channels which is completely different to multi track 
recording/editing.

So where to go from here? Well perhaps you might like to try Reaper, this 
software allows multi track manipulation and uses the Audio editor of your 
preference when it comes to editing particular audio tracks, a select group of 
tracks etc.

Also have a look at Goldwave's Sister Software called Multiquence, as I recall 
Multiquence is reasonably accessible but Reaper is far more accessible.
