Time to smoke the proverbial peace pipe... Steve, first of all, I want to apologize for the "get a life" phrase. It was meant to be a spunky ending to what I thought was an otherwise measured and "tame" response, all things considered. I guess I view cyberspace as a medium where people can be a bit more spunky in their banter (Jerome used the term, "happy anarchy). For the record, I also admitted in a later e-mail that I too need to get a life at times. But I also admit that dry wit and satire don't come across the wires too well at times. Having said that, maybe it's best if Steve and I, and whoever else may want to join us, to take our conversation off the main list. Maybe we should find a corner table to talk things through. I fear we run the risk of annoying people with our continued jousting. I'll give you the last word on the main list. Care to continue the convesation off line? Anyone else care to join?
