Yeah right.... this picture is being portrayed falsely. (Just a little bit....)
I WOULD buy a US or Canadian Shirt **** IF I COULD FIND ONE. ****
I found a pair of US made socks the other day and I almost checked in to CMH for a physical and then to Vision-World (a threatened business, because of WalMart) for an eye exam because I could not believe it.
A consumer cannot vote with their dollar when the vote is walk around naked or not. That is not a vote, (sorta like the difference between Republicans and Democrats); a vote has choices.
I do not see in stores a rack of Chinese slave labour shirts and a rack of US Union made shirts. If there was one, the US Rack would certainly see a glance from this shopper.
Then again I could cite, WTO, IMF, WB, G7, corporate person-hood and many others as problems... but then again I would not want to offend the Democrats and Republicans that constantly support such undemocratic forums and policies.

One of the things that I am concerned about being here in Canada, is the level of anti-American sentiment that I am running into. I am shocked by it... and I am not saying that it is not warranted, I am shocked because it is warranted.
