I am very intrigued with today's Winona Daily News
front page article regarding
the Senior High "lockdown".
One paragraph of the article stated "The student,
identified as a 15-year old
sophomore boy with no permanent address, was taken
to the LEC" etc.
Can anyone please explain to me as a Winona
District #861 taxpayer why we
would be schooling students with "no permanent
address"?
Also, how many of these students are there
presently in our District?
Where did he come from in a car to school and not a bus, etc.?
My curiosity is very peaked regarding
this matter.
