[Winona Online Democracy] The way around health care costs being placed on the employer is with a government-run system. Government is not the solution for all of life's problems, but there are certain things that simply make sense for the larger community to take on. Everyone needs medical care, no one should be denied decent care in a civilized society. Governments operate our roads, water, sewer, mail, etc. Health care is another universal need that makes sense to include within our common responsibilities.
