[Winona Online Democracy] I hope that the police have some strong arguments for this. Not trying to be confrontational, but saying that because a few members of the Everland Cooperative have "destroyed property", the whole group cannot be considered as a voice for part of the community is equivilent to deciding that we need to destroy the sun because it causes skin cancer. Ignoring the fact that it is also essential for life. What would you prefer? Suppression of a major group of people because a minority have broken a law? Or dealing with the property destruction in a way that facilitates Democracy while punishing those responsible? These people have great ideas and hold high ideals, both are hard to find. Should we write them off? -Ian Nicholson ----------------------- Oh well, I don't look good in shorts anyway - Nuke the Sun.
