[Winona Online Democracy] It's been years (decades?) since our esteemed architectural review board has been utilized, but the wait has been worth it. The Minneapolis newspaper published the account of their bold accomplishment in getting Wal-Mart to change the accent colors on their Winona building from blue to green. At the forum last week, the possibility of the Riverbend Retail Park being a tourist attraction was said in jest, but is anybody laughing now?
