Can you help us
understand more regarding issues of jailing? Judge
Challeen offers that half jailed are dui offenders.
Can we see some official statistics from the County?
Perhaps we should have a box score that shows us monthly the
breakdowns and costs.
I assume there
is a State Counties Association? What is their position on jails for
which type of offenders and the role of other inferventions such a
cognitive approaches?
What are the positions in the state legislature? Is there any talk of changing the mandatory sentencing? Where do our legislators stand?
