[Winona Online Democracy] So it seems unanimous on this thread and from comments included within messages on other threads that a single forum is what is desired. I wonder if there are some "listeners" out there who feel differently? I recall from our survey last spring that folks felt that the civility of the forum had improved after splitting to the two lists. My concern as a moderator would be risking a decrease in civility would mean members would be even less inclined to post than they are now. I definately don't want to see that happen. Unfortunately, those of you who have shared your views on this are the folks who don't seem to have a problem with the risk involved in posting. Any other comments out there regarding this aspect? Should we put it to an anonymous vote? How could we do this so that we know it would be an accurate process? This is one of those things that makes this discussion modality a difficult thing to moderate. This is something that probably can be a group decision or could be discussed more at the next steering committee meeting and reported in the minutes. What do you all think?
