[Winona Online Democracy]
Monday (10th) evening, the Winona Community Foundation is sponsoring a speaker who'll be addressing another facet of the state and local finance theme. The program will focus on the responsibilities of parents and community adults to understand the impact of advertising on their children's spending and to gain skills in guiding their children's use of money. Perhaps, we'd have a clearer understanding of our civic responsibility if we were in better control of our own fiscal health.
Monday evening at the Winona Middle School auditorium, nationally known Nathan Dungan will speak to adults and youth of middle school and high school age. The free program begins at 7:00 p.m.
To learn more about the evening, read Maggie Modjeski's column in Friday's Winona Daily News.

We are enthused about this community opportunity !
