…………….

Then, there are "minimum pricing" rules by our State. A station owner can not legally price gas under a certain amount. One Exxon retailer with several Metro stations has repeatedly been fined by the State for trying a "gas war" - anybody even remember that term?

………………It isn't as simple as it might appear.

Yes, I remember the term, and free tumblers with a fill-up. “Gas War” has taken on a new meaning these days, hasn’t it?

Whether retailers are charging a few cents more or less than they should, I predict with confidence that the price will get higher before it gets a lot higher.
