The school board has a tough job. Now that we have given them the money, and it appears the sentiment is to not give them any more, We need to hold the board accountable to educate with the resources available. They may have to do things we don't like, but we the voters have spoken. I haven't seen any comments on the governors initiative, for which he provided extra money as a reward for improvement of the system, nor do I understand it, but I do know the money was in last years budget. The innovations brought to us by our governor need to be explored and leveraged to our advantage. A wise mentor of mine once told me you leverage knowledge by using it. With the knowledge available in the education community we should be able to leverage the innovations to reward our system. Let's move to a new level of getting things done.
