I agree, thank goodness for today's information age...
There was NO OTHER bid for the Lincoln building. Below is a quote from the Winona Daily News
dated 12/19/03:
"Two months later, Winona State University's $700,000 offer for the Lincoln building appears more attractive.
After rejecting the offer in October, seeking other bids for the property and receiving none, the Winona school board voted 4-1 Thursday to ask Winona State to resubmit its offer, with the understanding that, this time, the offer would be accepted."
