As promised, here is the extract on copyright from the rules for all
E-Democracy Forums.
"Copyright and Reuse. By submitting an original message, authors agree to
distribute their intellectual property via e-mail and inclusion in a
permanent public web archive in perpetuity. Do not post the full text of
copyrighted material. However, you may post quotations from articles or web
sites with the source URL. While all original authors retain their copyright
rights, they grant others the right to quote or forward their public forum
messages to others as long as the author's name and the forum's name or web
address are cited or linked. Media outlets may quote original forum postings
under these terms only."
Note that paraphrasing an article is acceptable. Be sure to give credit to
original author, however.
