Unsubstantiated, blanket-statement personal attacks don't do much for
the credibility of your argument. List subscribers don't have to put up with
them, either. Knock it off.
Thank you for expressing what many of us
have been feeling. Unfortunately, you are just spitting into the wind.
To use the words of a former WAPS School
Board member, many people "have already made up (their) minds and (they)
don't want to be confused by any more facts".
Nothing you say, no matter how accurate
or how convincing, will ever change their minds. Their distrust of
"government", unfortunately, is so strong that everything must pass
through a very strong filter of negativity, both entering the brain and leaving
the mouth.
On the other hand, I KNOW that there are
many open-minded individuals on this list whose abilities for critical analysis
remain intact. Hang in there.
