No go, Fulvio, I am sorry - now the version says:
d:\analyzer\> windump -h
windump version current-cvs.tcpdump.org, based on tcpdump version
current-cvs.tcpdump.org
and the results are the same (error). Actually, having seen your example, I
just "installed" (i.e. downloaded) the alpha of windump on the machine I
consider "remote", and tried the windump -i rpcap with the localhost, both as
name and as IP address (127.0.0.1), with and without [] - I am getting the
same "error opening adapter". Very odd ...
